Yes, we are still here!
You guys are right about Lisa Marie’s acting. I never noticed in the Burton movies because she never said much, but her acting stinks in this. Great show!
Right? She always plays the character who doesn’t say anything or is plain weird. I think she was best in Sleepy Hollow. Here, though, it’s like she tries too hard.
Don’t feel crazy, Jay. You DID review this, in the Gates of Hell episode (#146) at Horror Movie Podcast. This movie has aged well for you too because your rating grew from an 8 to an 8.5. You probably just low-balled it before because Doc Shock and Wolfman were coming in so high on it. Dave even said it would’ve been his #1 of the year had he seen it before his list!
Awesome!! 👍👍👍
Not any more. I’m off to the theater to catch one last movie before they all shut down.
I am glad y’all enjoyed it. The presence of the family and the physicality of the Ghosts was brutal and one of a kind. Because of it, it is on my all time top 10 list.
Yeah…. that coal look is amazing. Plus, the plot twist is so good!
