Premise:
Produced by British film company Wigwam Films, the film is an international co-production between Qatar, Jordan, and the United Kingdom. It is set during the 1980s, in war-torn Tehren, Iran, during the lengthy conflict between Iran and Iraq. As her physician husband is called away to military service during the conflict, Shideh, remains behind in Tehren to take care of her daughter. But missiles and bombings aren’t their only concerns. The family seems to be haunted by a malevolent Djinn, which is an Evil Spirit.

Good discussion!
What’s wrong with PG-13 horror movies, Guys? This bloodlust for the hardcore gore and violence, does this really make the movies scarier? In my experience it does not.
On this review BillChette is the man of the hour; he tells us why this film is a great spooky tale, teaching us some history and culture on the way.
I have nothing against them, Nick. I just honestly didn’t find this specific movie very scary at all.
