I can’t believe you gave Haunt such a low score. I thought it was at least a 6. I liked the maze-like feel. Yes, the characters were blah but I got into it.

I didn’t like the Haunting of Blue Manor. I thought it tried too hard…

Eli was crap. I thought it was a 5. The boy was a noxious. The twist was okay but then got ridiculous. A few good jump scares but overall I thought it was boring. I don’t like when a movie has something you wait for the whole movie to figure out and then the payoff isn’t worth it. I agree that it was an eyeroller.

I just watched “Death of Me” on Netflix and I thought this payoff was worth it. It was far fetched and out there but worth it. I liked the visions and flashbacks. 7 out of 10.

Good show.

Projectile Varmint, you are a woman after my own heart! I agree with EVERYTHING you’ve said here! Ha ha.

I know Channy didn’t like it, but I LOVED Haunt! It actually cracked my top 10 of 2019, if I remember correctly… or at least, it ALMOST did.

After this episode, I continued on with The Haunting of Bly Manor, and it just wasn’t for me. I’ve read Henry James’s “The Turn of the Screw,” and I love The Innocents (1961). Aside from that, these adaptation of James’s story just haven’t been doing it for me. Last year’s “The Turning” was AWFUL, and Bly Manor put me right to sleep! Plus… when the two girls who were sisters in Haunting of Hill House were lovers in Bly Manor… I just got significantly thrown off! LOL!

I wanted to like Eli more than I did. I really did. Oh well! Ha ha! As for “Death of Me,” I’m right there with you at a 7.

Thanks so much for your feedback, my friend! You rock!
