  1. Hello there,
    Here’s another off-topic post.
You may skip this if you expected a comment on this episode 🙂

So many things beg for our attention these days.
The many screens we work with, have fun with, wear on our person all day, and even sleep next to are a big part of that.
Flooded by constant information, we can spend more time sorting than actually thinking and reflecting, and sometimes we can feel we are actively losing our time.

    Enter Mister Watson.

Again, HMW is like a band: Jay od the Dead as the lead and soul, Channy Dreadful bringing warm and contrasting tones, and Mister Watson setting the rhythm connecting everything together.
It is always a treat to listen to Watson’s comments. And it’s precisely because they are not just comments, or rehash of previous ideas.

The way he introduces a topic, develops it, reaches concepts, seems to start an academic lecture, only to swoop down on the original point is podcast magic. Or just magic.

To me, the drummer is the one who creates structure for the other artists, but also sets a singular mood, defining the musical palette for the whole song.
Mister Watson brings structure by the precision and unstoppable logic of his speech.
But he doesn’t turn condescending or obstinate; on the contrary, he welcomes exchange and manages confrontation in a constructive manner.

Listening to him feels like he did the sorting work already, and shares his thinking and reflecting process with us. The best part is that it often triggers my own thinking.
Podcasts don’t get any better than that.

Thank you Mister Watson, and all three of you!
