“Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker.” That’s a terrible title. But is “Exposition” a derogatory term? That is the question. Along with: Where the HELL has this podcast been for the past four months? Jay of the Dead provides a way-too-long-preface to explain. But in short, we’re back now, Baby! Happy new year 2025! During Episode 168 of Horror Movie Weekly, Jay of the Dead and Mister Watson bring you an extended episode that includes a Feature Review of Impetigore (2020), Micro Horror Movie Reviews, and Jay shares two stories about a crazy ex-girlfriend… You know us, plenty of tomfoolery. Thanks for sticking with us — even during an inexplicable and impromptu hiatus. Join us!

This weekly Horror movie podcast brings you one recent Horror movie review every Sunday. (As noted previously, we’re defining “recent” as any Horror movie released within the last five years or the current year; so now that it’s 2024, we’ll be covering Horror films from 2019 to the present.) And we always reveal next week’s pick at the end of every show, so you can watch along with us and be prepared for the following episode. Thanks for listening!

Great mini review of return of the living dead. My parents took us to see this at drive in 1985. It’s one of my favorites.
Watson “I had a bad dream about a droopy banana”
Jay “that sounds Freudian”
Watson “oh god I hope not”
Hahaha. Comedy gold
Great review of this one. I really loved it, and come in a bit higher than you both, but appreciated that you covered it. Watson made some killer points and brought the awesome factoid about the music, which I have never heard in any other reviews I’ve heard about this one. Very cool! Watson, you should consider sharing your playlist.
Also, shout out to the Lofi Girl listening love! Jay, I’m a thousand years old I guess, but I remember The Dukes of Hazzard, too, and would play Luke Duke in our neighborhood kid play along! My Luke Duke rode a Big Wheel!
I also just wanted to say that your adorable bromance is lovely, and your devoted friendship to one another is really sweet. I love how Watson was ready to “Audition” your high-school ex! That’s love, bro!
