Thank you Jay and co! Watched this movie after hearing this review, and it will continue to stay in the back of my mind and haunt me for some time… A great horror movie! I was expecting some fairly run of the mill, generic film and that is the opposite of what this was. It reminded me of Cronenberg’s movie ‘Spider’. Also definitely worth a watch. It’s interesting, as that one isn’t actually about spiders either. Something I read about Possum, is that the character Maurice was partly inspired by Jimmy Saville… Whether this is true or not I’m not entirely sure. But if it is, then it makes that character all the more terrifying to me. Anyway, cheers guys keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for listening and commenting, Ollie! Man… did this movie ever take me by surprise! I did not know about the Jimmy Saville inspiration. Also… as a huge fan of Cronenberg, I haven’t seen Spider. I will remedy this. Much love, friend!
