In this week’s edition of Horror Movie Weekly, there is something mysterious happening with 2022 Comedy Horror movies… A few of them have caused Jay of the Dead to do some serious soul-searching about how he feels about Comedy Horror movies in general. There has been “Deadstream” (2022), “The Menu” (2022) currently in theaters, and now our Feature Review for Episode 130, which is When the Screaming Starts (2022), a film co-written and directed by Conor Boru. This episode was recorded when Project Varmint was very under the weather, yet before Jay of the Dead contracted his ill-timed Thanksgiving plague. So, in this fun recording, Mister Watson and Jay of the Dead bring you a couple of Micro Horror Movie Reviews and then our usual Feature Review. Hope you’re all doing well! Excellent episode as always gentlemen. PV was missed though and I hope she feels better soon. I’m just getting over a week long flu myself so I get it. This movie was on my watchlist, so I’m glad you covered it. I think after listening to you I will try to get to it by the end of the year.
Oh and Watson, hate you to buddy! Just kidding my dude. I’m glad to hear you’ve been listening to a lot of Nathan and myself lately. There’s actually more of us together coming in the near by future, so I hope you enjoy it. Btw still over hear waiting impatiently for more War Zee. Did we even watch the same movie?! 😀 I’d say 4/10 at best. For a horror movie, it wasn’t scary OR gory. For a comedy, it wasn’t funny! It tried too hard to be both, but it never it the right notes for either.
