1. I personally can’t believe this was just three weeks ago. It’s mind blowing.

2. Bill Chete my man you shined on this episode! Fun hearing bill & the phantom arguing but I think you might regret saying to lady phantom & I quote what you’re silly mind ain’t thinking is…WHOA haha hilarious! Bill you said a lot of great stuff & answered my question about getting her pregnant & that was that he was already wearing the suit spying on her as my silly mind never even thought that so thanks for answering that question! Hollow Man is way better than this movie without a doubt. That was fun & fast paced. Here I didn’t like the super strength of the suit, not believing the victim “based on his job” didn’t like the part where the girl got hit by invisible man yet believed it was Elizabeth moss when she wasn’t close to her to do it, the sister believing the email was dumb & she killed her man in too short a time that you mentioned as I’m writing this. The knife scene was incredible in every way! This movie was definitely overrated/overhyped but still good. 6/10 stream/rent it “not the 20 it costs currently” Great episode guys!

   1. Glad you enjoyed the episode, Tony. I did notice the silly mind part, but I choose to ignore silly opinions… hehehehe!
      I don’t think she was a horrible person. You need to keep in mind that when you are a decent human being, you really can’t imagine all the horrible things a horrible person will do. She thought by meeting her sister in a public place, they’d be safer. She, alas, was wrong. True, she ended up killing him, but at that point, it was his life or hers, and she knew it. He would not have changed. As for the dog, who knows why even have it there. So in conclusion, she was definitely flawed, but not a bad person.
      I agree the sister non giving her the benefit of the doubt about the e-mail was too much, but I can see her be hurt anyway. Human beings are weird; you never know.

3. Thanks lady phantom I totally forgot to mention the dog. If anything Elizabeth moss character is a horrible dog owner to not even remember the dog. Also dumb to put your own sister in harm’s way by going to dinner with her. The husband got her outta the way to be safe & she brought her into the picture to be murdered. I’m seeing more & more what a horrible person she was. Killed her husband, brought her sister in harms way to be killed & a horrible dog owner. They deserved each other! Good actress but she wasn’t great in this film.

6. First off, you all pick good movies when you get the chance but Jay probably picks the best ones if I have to choose haha

   Second to Bill Chete – Siskel and Ebert spoiled movies during their reviews ALL THE DAMN TIME!

   I e see the video below where ebert reveals a point in a movie of a character being alive when they are told to the audience they’re dead at the beginning of said movie

   Third to Bill Chete – The Invisible Man is essentially a slasher film where the villain is masked and you don’t exactly know who it is and who has a horror costume like ghost face or Michael Myers and how can not like that?! They managed to turn the invisible man in a new horror icon and it could be anyone! That’s dope!

   And Hollow Man is fun but it’s not incredible that’s a hot take coming from Bill who didn’t like Terrifier!

   Which is it bill? Which is it? Would you call Hollow Man a horror movie?! Lol

8. I loved The Invisible Man. Or should I say “The Victim of the Invisible Man”. Despite Bills point of not enough Invisible Man, or the fact that it wasn’t solely focused on the Invisible Man, I have no gripes with focusing on the female in danger plot. It had great sound effects and to Phantoms point, The anxiousness of the Invisible Man being present even when you can’s see him was fantastic. I loved the “surprise” kill(s). I did see the final one coming, but was still great. I agree with Bill that I wanted more of the husbands background, scientific research, and abusiveness. I believe the movie wanted to hammer the “believe all women” mantra and was probably the reason they skipped it, well that and time restraints. I don’t think Elizabeth Moss should be nominated for anything, but her craziness, albeit overacting, did help drive the seriousness of her in peril. Twas’ dark, tense, great sound effect, good kills, and good story. 9.5*

   I am a big fan of Upgrade, which was the main reason for me wanting to see this movie. Also, drove to Disney Springs AMC which has a big Dolby Theatre and made the experience all the more enjoyable, will look forward to owning it on 4k, and curious if my rating and opinions will change upon further viewings.

9. Good points Maurice. The thing is like Sam mentioned I personally wanted a movie focusing on the invisible man, period. His background as like the original.

   And Maurice Hollow Man is far a superior film in every respect. The effects, cgi, story and great action scenes, acting. And no I don’t think Hollow Man is horror.

   How Terrifier is mentioned in relation to this I don’t get. Just because Terrifier is rubbish don’t relate to this one.

10. I think this movie is a nice take on the invisible man concept, a good example of how the old Universal Monsters can be redone for a contemporary audience. The movie has its flaws, but I appreciate what it’s aiming for. My attitude about it is like Jay of the Dead’s wanting to support horror movies in the theaters, like what Jay was talking about ‘The Hunt’ recently. This kind of film making, I’ll put my dollar up for that, if I have a dollar.
