Ratings and Recommendations: Leprechaun (1993)
Jay of the Dead = 3 ( Avoid )
BillChete = 7 ( Buy it! )
Lady Phantom = 4 ( Avoid )
Leprechaun Returns (2018) — Genre Classification: Horror / Fantasy / Slasher / Comedy / Campy Schlock, B-Horror Movie
Premise:
This is the eighth installment of the Leprechaun series, but this eighth film totally disregards movies 2 through 7. So, this movie is a sequel to the first movie from 1993, and it takes place 25 years later, in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota, just like the first movie.
We have the daughter of Jennifer Aniston’s character from the first movie. She and a few sorority sisters are fixing up the old O’Grady home and turning it into a sorority house for Alpha Upsilon (whose initials are “AU,” which yes, is how the periodic table denotes gold). The vile leprechaun returns again in search of his gold, and he’ll kill anyone who tries to get in his way!
Ratings and Recommendations: Leprechaun Returns (2018)
Jay of the Dead = 5.5 ( Low-priority Rental )
BillChete = 6 ( Buy it! )
Lady Phantom = 6 ( Rental )
