Happy Halloween this month from Jay of the Dead and Mister Watson! In Episode 188 of Horror Movie Weekly, your two late-night Horror hosts bring you a Feature Review of the obscure, low-budget backwoods exploitation flick, Bloodlines (2007) — Jay of the Dead’s pick. But first, the boys discuss the Wendy’s “Frosty” versus milkshakes, the Oscars’ surprising, recent recognition for Horror, and an episode of Considering the Cinema covering the films of 2001. We also bring you Micro Horror Movie Reviews of The Theta Girl (2017), Savage Hunt (2025), and Coyotes (2025). Plus, a $5 gas-station-movie-rack lament, a bedazzled Mister Watson mug, and some deeply questionable genetic-selection practices among movie mountain peoples… Join us!
Note: This episode was recorded on the day Chuck Norris died: March 19, 2026.

This weekly Horror movie podcast brings you one recent Horror movie review every Sunday. (As noted previously, we’re defining “recent” as any Horror movie released within the last five years or the current year; so now that it’s 2024, we’ll be covering Horror films from 2019 to the present.) And we always reveal next week’s pick at the end of every show, so you can watch along with us and be prepared for the following episode. Thanks for listening!
