  1. I am cool with horror adjacent, and thought this one was a good pick. I wouldn’t have known about it otherwise, so I was glad you covered it. Where it lacks in jump scares, it made my skin crawl at several points throughout, as much as any horror movie would aim to. The story is well constructed and the performances throughout were great! I found the main character so believable and relatable, unheard and desperately wanting to please others, sending her down an unenviable path. While not necessarily horror, this film left me with such unease, even gagging at times.

  2. I finally got caught up and think the three of you are doing an amazing job! I don’t think this is one I’m going to check out. From the first time I heard about this one I was offput by it. I think its just the subject matter of her eating all of the strange items. The thought of that freaks me out. You did a great job talking about the film as always though.

I’m excited for Mister Watson’s pick for next time. I feel like I’ve heard of the film before or at least its namesake and I can’t wait to watch this one and hear what you all think.

Also J I’ve been waiting for a new Considering the Cinema episode for what feels like forever. Glad to hear you’ll be releasing more soon.

    1. Hey, Trey! We’ve been having so much fun together with the show, so thank you for your kind words, my friend.

Yeah, dude, some of the scenes here in Swallow… regarding the things she ingests… are pretty rough. LOL.

And I’m with you! I can’t wait for more Considering the Cinema! I’m sure Jay’s got a lot of content coming up for our eager ears.
