Ep. 106: Hellraiser: Judgment (2018)

Horror Movie Weekly Ep. 106: Hellraiser 2018

Merry Christmas! Welcome to Horror Movie Weekly, One Badass Horror Podcast! Please pardon the hiatus, we have wonderful things in the works! Be sure to listen closely to Jay of the Dead’s updates at the very beginning of this episode! There is a helluva good Criterion Horror Blu-ray contest under way, and there’s still not much competition! You could win 8 (count ’em, 8!) Criterion Horror Blu-rays! Actually, the truth is, there are more free Horror movies at stake in this give-away, so listen to learn more!

Also, next week — Sunday, January 2, 2022 — for Episode 107, we will release our Top 10 Horror Movies of 2021 episode! THIS EPISODE WILL HAVE LOTS OF VALUABLE “INFORMATION.” Listen on its day of release!

As for this week’s release, here in Episode 106, your beloved Horror hosts, Jay of the Dead, Mister Watson, and Projectile Varmint will review a Crime Horror Mystery Serial Killer movie that could be referred to as “a poor man’s ‘Se7en,'” and that film is Hellraiser: Judgment (2018), the 10th installment of this iconic Horror franchise! (It’s better than you’re expecting! Jay calls this film a “buy.”) Your hosts also bring you Micro Horror Movie Reviews and a damn good time. And as Watson says at the end of this show, you are welcome to call and leave us a voicemail at (801) 215-9704.

Note: This episode was recorded on October 25, 2021 (the 8-year anniversary of Jay of the Dead’s launch of Horror Movie Podcast), and was released on December 26, 2021.

This weekly Horror movie podcast brings you one recent Horror movie review every Sunday. (We’re defining “recent” as any Horror movie released within the last five years, so now that it’s 2021, we’ll be covering Horror films from 2016 to the present.) And we always reveal next week’s pick at the end of every show, so you can watch along with us and be prepared for the following episode. Join us, and thanks for listening!

  1. I’m guessing that the Criterion Horror Blu-ray that looks like “some sort of a dog” is the cover of Obayashi’s House from 1977! That’s worth the trouble of entering alone!

  2. Man, woke up so excited this morning for the top 10s and nothing posted 😭 maybe I misheard but thought Jay said when we woke up Sunday morning? Hopefully goes up soon, really excited for this episode, hope all is well!

      1. This is super exciting! Pretty much like the triumphant return of HMP, which just wasn’t the same without Jay of the Dead!!!
