  1. Regarding Strip Club Massacre, here’s the deal… I’m almost 63 years old. For some, that’s not so old but for most, including my grandchildren, I would be considered ancient. I know the days I have left are going to be far fewer then the days I’ve been around. Having just retired, I’ve been trying to watch at least one horror movie a day but I need these movies to be the best quality horror movies available. I don’t have a lot of time to waste. So, no, I won’t be watching Strip Club Massacre. And I do appreciate any avoid recommendation you guys give because it allows me to cross off any bad movies from my watch list. So, please, keep up the great work.

  2. Wow haha.
This may have been a chore to watch (for at least two of you), but this episode was a blast to listen to.
I’m still debating whether to try this one out.
On one hand, I’m very intrigued by it… but on the other hand, my time on this earth is finite and I’d have to live we the fact that I spent some of it like this haha.

Also awesome to hear from Kyle! Always fun to discuss recurring plot devices and tropes to find the common purposes they serve.

  3. And this concludes another exhilarating episode of Horror Movie Weekly! Will our hosts be able to end their thirst for revenge and reassemble? Will Death of Me be any good? Will Projectile Varmint be able to paint left handed? Find out next time on Horror Movie Weekly!

All that aside I did enjoy the episode, but at what cost. Jay is over here defending (admirably I might add) a 4/10. Sorry you all had to go through that one. Hopefully no one is forever scarred because of it.

I ended up skipping Death of Me from last year. I’m curious to see what you all rate it. I’m looking forward to the day you eventually cover The Empty Man. I feel like that movie was marketed terribly and turned out much better than I thought.

Can’t wait for the next episode!

  4. I wound up renting this on Amazon after listening to the previous episode. Jay, I will have you know that I was not disappointed! This movie has it’s moments. Yes, I was shaking my head throughout the movie but most of the time that was followed by some chuckling. With that said, I totally understand why someone would find this movie tasteless. It does go a little too far. I would consider this one a low priority rental. If you decide to watch it, make sure you have a drink in your hand. Thanks, dudes! Great episode. Had me laughing.
