  1. This was a really fun episode! I definitely wasn’t expecting so many musical numbers. Is it bad that I kind of want to watch Truth or Dare? It definitely has me curious. I think it must’ve been the I Know What You Did Last Summer and Final Destination comments you made. It takes me back to that particular time frame.

      1. Thank you! It’s been a lot of fun for me. Always happy to hear that Kaiju fans are liking these episodes.

        1. Mr. Whetsone, please don’t forget that 2022 is the centennial year of ‘Nosferatu’ on your horror history podcast.

          1. Hey Kaiju Nick! So back on episode 11 that Nathan Bartlebaugh and I did in February we actually discussed both Nosferatu films as well as the Cat People ones. I know we mentioned the 100th year at some point in there, but I think that’s partially why Nathan wanted to cover the movie.

  2. A big hello Jay and all from the Uk,

Just wanted to leave a comment here to say thank you for all your hard work with the podcasts… I listen to all of them religiously! And it’s always a pleasure for me when a new one (finally) appears.
As a way of saying some sort of a thank you, I’ve been searching around for a long, long while for the best movie I could find to offer you as a recommendation… I’ve tried to take into consideration your very specific tastes Jay. Finally after a lot of searching and rejection, I think I’ve found the perfect recommendation for you. (I sincerely hope you take recommendations and don’t feel this is presumptuous of me, as it’s one I strongly feel you should see and would appreciate). Also I hope you haven’t seen it yet, otherwise the search may have to continue… So, if you get the chance please check out ‘Wild Tales’. By the way I’m only about 40 mins into watching it, but it was so good, that I just felt it was the one, and I had to pause it and leave this comment. (Hoping it doesn’t crash and burn on me for the remaining 2 hours)!

Thank you again for all of your glorious podcasts. I will continue to listen and am a lifelong fan…
P.S. I also love it when Doctor Shock says ‘from just outside Philadelphia P.A.’ Makes me smile every time I hear it. Anyway, I must get back to watching the film! Cheers for now, Ollie

    1. Hi Ollie!
Jay of the Dead here. Thank you for the careful and earnest recommendation! Tomorrow night we’re recording Episode 123 of Horror Movie Weekly, so I will watch “Wild Tales” (2014) and discuss it during our Micro Horror Movie Reviews section! Thanks again for finding a film for me to watch. I love when people send me recommendations! Watch for my review of “Wild Tales” (in your honor) during our upcoming Episode 123!
      Sincerely,
      Jay

      1. Thanks Jay, hope you enjoy it… and won’t be offended at all if you don’t. I have another recommendation for a podcast, but will save that for next week as I don’t want to hog the comments.

  3. Sorry… One more thing. Just checked and this is classed as a ‘comedy’ ‘drama’ ‘thriller’ on imdb. But from the 40 minutes I have seen so far, I would definitely say it has strong elements of horror. So my recommendation still stands!
